Alstom

Alstom is a global player and the leading provider of trains, systems, equipment and services for the rail sector in the UK and in Ireland. In the UK Alstom designs, develops, manufactures, tests and services trains, signalling equipment, and infrastructure systems for the UK and export markets employing over 6,000 people including apprentices.  This is comprised of around 2,000 at Derby, including over 400 specialised engineers, with train maintenance staff in London and at depots across the UK.
